The new Armada mallet putter is a knockoff of the Odyssey Sabertooth putter. The Armada has an enlarged mallet head with two "teeth" that move the center of gravity (CoG) behind the face and towards the perimeter of the head. This weight configuration gives the putter an extremely high moment of inertia ( MOI) to reduce twists upon impact. In play, it gives you a sliky smooth putting stroke that accelerates through the ball, even on delicate touch putts, so your putts hold their line better. A 3-ball alignment aid behind the sweet spot makes it easier to line up those testy 4 and 5 footers that are so crucial to lowering your score.
